St. Anton am Arlberg
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
From the start at 1300m approx. 40-50 cm, up at 2300m around 60 cm. in rocky areas or in the forest it is still too dangerous or there is still too little to be able to ski in a relaxed manner! So there should still be plenty of snow...
Snow quality
Good powder at the start, but it was a bit tricky to ride. But after a few turns it was quite fun! As I kept to the piste further down, there was unfortunately a lot of snow cannon snow which wasn't so good for skiing. But all in all, the conditions were pretty good!
Risks
I was mostly out and about in the ski area and the avalanche situation was relaxed! Basically, the snow made a good impression. There is still too little snow for descents in rocky areas anyway
Overall impression
Beautiful tour with atmospheric weather. Unfortunately I stuck too closely to the piste when descending further down and therefore skied in the snow cannon snow....but all in all a good day's touring!
