Schindlergrat und Trittkopf-Kar
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
In St. Anton there is 20cm in the village, towards Zürs it gets more and more, in the ski area itself there is still a lot missing for the classic variants, in Zürs you could see a shark in almost every line. There was enough in gullies and wind-protected areas!
Snow quality
The fresh snow from yesterday (40cm) was still easy to ski in the afternoon. There was hardly any wind during the day and the sun withdrew in the morning too, the base is now well set, but not yet enough in many places!
Risks
Some large cornices can be seen on the ridges, the wind has shifted a lot! On the Schindlergrat the usual blasting could be seen, otherwise nothing conspicuous.
Overall impression
Many lifts opened for the first time today after the new snowfall.
We didn't ski the Trittkopf descent to Stuben, we weren't entirely comfortable with the wind.
After 10 laps on the Schindlergrat we climbed up to the Trittkopfkar. The ridge was almost completely overgrown and we then fought our way down...
3 stars for the snow and 1 bonus star for such a relaxed day, we were alone in almost every gondola in such conditions.
