Snow report Arlberg, 12/18/2015
...and here is the Arlberg

Snow condition
Without artificial snow, nothing would be possible here either. It's amazing that since my last visit on Monday, the lifts on the Kapall are now also running. There is also a conveyor belt from Rendl down into the valley, but the valley run is closed here. Only one lift is in operation at the top.
Snow quality
Everything except powder. Above all, hard artificial snow, ice, hill-high slush, off-piste swamp and wet snow that is easy to turn for a few meters in altitude.
Risks
The few centimeters from yesterday/Wednesday from 2000m upwards came off in large areas with the sun, but didn't bring any more snow with them.
Overall impression
Better than expected, but far from an average December ski day. If there was a base and enough snow, firn and slush would be the order of the day at the moment. To be honest, the situation is a sheer disaster, especially as it's now getting crowded - the cars are rolling in. I'm still refusing to go, but slowly but surely something else has to be done
