Unfortunately, the 5 cm of fresh snow only minimally improved the situation. However, there were places protected from the sun where you could make a few decent turns with more than 10 cm.
Snow quality
The fresh snow was light and quite dry but not enough on the rock-hard, icy surface.
Risks
No snow, no avalanche danger. In steep terrain, the few centimetres of fresh snow on the hard surface slide off easily. The greatest danger still comes from contact with stones, which can hardly be avoided.
Overall impression
A beautiful, sunny day with a little bit of fresh snow.
