Snow condition
Easy descent to the valley station. Down into the valley to Axams it becomes a little more difficult as it has rained very high up. At the top in the forest and in open terrain a good base in all exposures. Only some ridges, e.g. on the contest face, are blown away.
Snow quality
Approx. 3cm of fresh snow. The whole thing on a very compact but not frozen surface. Rides very well in places. But also rather poor in places. Rarely a small lid. All in all ok but not good.
Risks
According to the LLB level 3, we did not observe a slide. Nevertheless, many wind signs and everything still looks a bit soggy, which is why we kept everything rather safe.
Overall impression
Ok but not good. The base is better than it has been for a long time. Now we just need the next dump and everything will be fine again ;)
