It's hard to believe, but somehow a bit of snow has accumulated here in the last few weeks. There's not a lot of it by any means, but it's probably getting close to the lower end of the average. Off-piste skiing is possible to a limited extent, and the odd tour should also be possible with a forward-looking skiing style and practically no stone contact. There are only a few brown patches left on the pistes too.
Snow quality
Ok. Due to the very high temperatures, the powder snow is very settled off-piste, although everything is actually completely packed. Slopes with good grip, partly slushy further down.
Risks
Strong winds and a 3, you can imagine the rest.
Overall impression
It's kind of sad when you go skiing in the middle of January for lack of alternatives, but it was ok.
