10 cm fresh snow
Descent to valley (to 2400 m)
Descent through forest
Stone Contact avoidable
Variations of snow cover

Old snow has stabilized well due to the long drought episode, which means that you can ski down into the valley without sharks, despite rough bumps in the terrain and lots of apery spots. However, there is still not enough snow in the forest and on south-facing slopes. The 10cm of fresh snow this morning still made things a lot of fun, especially in hollows where the base remained soft.

Wet snow
Powder snow

It's crazy how much difference 10cm can make. The old tracks come through of course, but still fun with a good choice of tracks. Fresh snow was sticky at the bottom and drier at the top, but certainly no blower, which was better.

Risks

North West North-West

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

The fresh snow has blown down unbound on the old crust in steep and very steep terrain. I didn't notice any drift snow below 2400 m. The danger comes from Sharks Almrosen and weak layers of artificial snow in places.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne
Better

In itself and objectively not a special day, but due to the long drought before and few people today it was worth 2 stars. After it cleared up and the visibility was still good, it was worth 3 stars.
