Exposition
Snow condition
In the meadows and alpine rose terrain, you can now ride reasonably well even if there are often still quite a few bumps. Some of the stones are only slightly snow-covered/large ones are still easily recognizable.
Snow quality
Above 1500m nice light powder without wind influence, below 1300m it gets hard in the morning and at 1000m there is almost nothing. Above 1500m there's usually about 15-20cm which is really good to ride if you go faster.
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
Wherever there is a board and the ground is not groomed, the problem of old snow is once again much more relevant. A few small avalanches have occurred on the edges of the terrain in the snowfall or were triggered by winter sports enthusiasts
Avalanche activity
Dry slab avalanche
Altitude: 2100 m
Overall impression
Did a few nice laps in the freeride area, as usual most of the tracks were quickly made during the week and the crossings for good snow are getting longer and longer. Nevertheless, probably the best freeride day of the season so far, makes me want more.
