After the direct off-piste terrain was very quickly covered, we made a detour towards Widdersberg. There was a brief hint of sunshine in the snow, but still good powder snow. The snow was generally unbound, drift snow, if present, was most likely snowed in. There was little to nothing going on in the gullies until midday, but we started making tracks. In the Widdersberg area with its heavy snowfall, one could almost assume an Arlberg effect, but the situation in the Kögeln could deteriorate with the foehn breakthrough at the latest. Senderstal has little snow.
