Snow condition
Good snow conditions across the board. There is no sign of the warmth here. However, there are still a few blown-off ridges and the occasional green or stone to be found here. Apart from that, you can also ski down into the valley off-piste without any problems. 3.5-4 stars!
Snow quality
We had 5-15cm of fresh snow overnight, which covered yesterday's tracks pretty well. Not the finest powder, but due to the soft base and a slight "creaminess" it was actually quite nice to ski. Not quite as nice to ski on the sunny side from around 1pm.
Risks
Still quite tense. The numerous avalanches in the Stubai Alps yesterday speak for themselves! Detailed information in the LWD blog: https://lawinen.report/blog/lawinenwarndienst.blogspot.com/8273014934383020908 The fresh snow overnight also covered the drift snow accumulations again in places, making assessment more difficult. Just like yesterday (Stubai Glacier), we stayed away from any slope that even remotely deserved the adjective "steep" today.
Overall impression
Started without any expectations and was pleasantly surprised by fresh snow & some sunshine in the meantime. Could be worse!
