Exposition
Snow condition
The snow conditions are not glorious, but acceptable. There is also enough snow in forest aisles. Unfortunately, you still have to watch out for stones in some places. In the easily accessible gullies of the Hochtennboden, you can often see skiers doing somersaults or losing their skis after shark attacks. However, rocky terrain is in itself skiable as long as it is not too exposed to the wind. It's just better to stay in gullies. This winter also teaches us to enjoy controlled and restrained skiing behavior. There seems to be no change in sight.
Video
Snow quality
Still (heavier) powder in the shade down to about 1800m. East and west-facing broken snow, which requires a lot of concentration and skiing technique.
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
Hardly any signs of wind to be seen. Some old cracks are a reminder of the latent old snow problem.
Overall impression
You can still find powder in the shade. However, in rocky terrain you should adapt your choice of line to the lurking danger of sharks. A brittle cover has already formed where the sun reaches. The snow conditions allow for a lot but unfortunately still demand control and restraint or at least a good head for heights.
