There is little snow on the sunny slopes, so we went to the Kalkkögeln to get a few freshies on the north side. The traverse back to the area went without rock contact. Below 1700m it is heavily snowed out and close to the ridge the wind was working hard.
Snow quality
In the shade there was powder, otherwise you have slush, ice and wind-pressed snow.
Risks
We were traveling below 2500m and therefore didn't notice anything of gm.4. There was also no dangerous accumulation of loose snow or drift snow.
Overall impression
Bluebirdday fully savored. Hopefully the foehn will now bring something for the south.
