Lots of snow away from Maria Rast. The gully can be climbed down 5m on the rope, abseiling is not absolutely necessary. (The rest of the gully is very well snowed in.

On the south side, a really nasty mixture of melting hard snow, wind hard snow and break. Ascent 0*Good grip in the upper third of the north gully, then even better powder! Descent 3*

Overall impression
Ingenious tour with descent in an impressive gully. First section steep (45) and exposed. Then wide gully at 35°.
Rope for climbing down or descending hanging at the start.
Ascent to Maria Rast went without chains.
