Snow condition
it has thawed and rained a lot in the last few weeks. almost 15cm of fresh snow has fallen since yesterday. the eastern slopes obviously have hardly any snow. the western and especially the south-western slopes towards the kemater alm are partly no longer possible and partly just barely (see pictures). on the toboggan run to grinzens, however, you can still get far enough, so it's not a perpetual hatscher. there's enough snow in the forest in the ski area, but of course it's thin here too. typical for this winter: stone skis are strongly recommended if you go into untracked terrain.
Snow quality
15cm of beautiful powder. near the slopes everything was already tracked at half past nine. to the kemater alm first tracks. but there are 15cm of powder on the almrosen. it was still possible today. but not for long. of course, the powder is heavier at the bottom. it's warm.
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
No wind signs or other danger signs recognizable - but there was also hardly any visibility.
Overall impression
Nice day with a bit of powder. There were a few good turns. Unfortunately, the snow conditions aren't getting any better.
