Snow condition
As in the last few days, the snow conditions are good, but not great. All descents and variants are possible. Ski slopes are still an issue, however, and on the sunny slopes there is already much less snow. The descents into the valley are also possible for the most part. Even if the forest paths are already closed at the end.
Snow quality
Everything is there. From cold powder to firn, from wind cover to melt crust. The difference between the sides of a single ridge is often enormous. With a feel for snow and a little perseverance in the search, you can still find top snow conditions on the shaded side (north or protected gullies) above approx. 2000m.
Risks
According to the LLB, there were 2 above 2400 in the morning and 2 below that in the afternoon. We didn't see any fresh cold snow slabs. But there are wind signs everywhere. The sun was already very strong in the afternoon, but we were still only able to observe one wet loose snow avalanche and no base avalanches until around 14:00.
Overall impression
It's amazing how good snow you can still find at these spring-like temperatures (over 15°C in the valley). On the north side, nothing will change any time soon. So if you grab your skins, you can still catch powder and firn before enjoying the first beer of spring in the sun in the valley!
