The ascent through the south-facing Fidaskar is tough; without crampons nothing works here on the many slopes that are up to 35° steep. The last 50 vertical meters to the saddle below the Rosskogel on foot and aper along the summer path; the east-facing descent to the Pforzheimer Hütte went very well despite high cloud cover. The first 100 vertical meters from the summit were powder, then 150 vertical meters hard, then even nice firn up to the hut. Below the hut there was a fun sulz to St. Sigmund.

From Schweinfurter Hütte via Fidaskar to Zwieselbacher Rosskogel - east-facing descent to Pfortzheimer Hütte - Speckknödelsupper - St. Sigmund.
Exciting tour through a steep south-facing cirque; fine summit and a beautiful traverse down to the Pforzheimer Hütte.

NOTE: The Pforzheimer Hütte had its last day today (Sunday, 15.4.). It was cleared away, that's it.
There is still plenty of snow in the touring area for a few more ski tours; from now on with a winter room.
The Schweinfurter Hütte is also CLOSED, but further ski tours are still possible with a winter room.
