Snow condition
Fairly moderate snow conditions. On the south side there has been nothing all winter, on the north side there is still very little snow as far as the Kühtaisattel, but contact with the ground can hardly be completely avoided. North-side tours will probably remain worthwhile for a while, but not for long.
Snow quality
Heavy to medium snowfall with quite wet fresh snow made for 3-5cm of fresh snow on a lightly firned base, it was really nice skiing, both on and off the slopes.
Risks
Watch out for wet snow.
Overall impression
Quite nice for a few hours, if it keeps snowing like this it won't save the snow situation, but it will still make a few nice tours with fresh snow possible.
