Bad. The base at the valley stations was actually only artificial snow and unfortunately there was less fresh snow than expected. This morning there was about 5cm of fresh snow at 2000m and about 10cm at 2500m. This meant that it was only possible or sensible to start on the artificial snow slopes of the closed ski area. On the north side, there would still be a bit of base further up...
Snow quality
Mediocre. The lower few centimetres of fresh snow were very wet and sticky, above that it became lighter and lighter, but it still slowed us down quite a bit when driving.
Risks
The heavy and wind-influenced fresh snow was also somewhat unpleasant, and with hardly any visibility, there wasn't much to be gained today.
Overall impression
Well, I would have expected more... It snowed a little during the day, which certainly resulted in a few more centimeters of fresh snow, but I don't think there was really much more.
