Little has changed since the last report, a few centimeters of fresh snow were added during the course of Friday, but not much in the lower elevations, above about 2600m the snow is relatively good.

Lots of broken snow today. Although it wasn't very warm yesterday, the sun was enough to create a nasty crust even on flatter and medium-steep north-facing slopes up to almost 3000m. Powder only on steep shady slopes or very high up, with some firn on the south and east-facing slopes, even if it's not yet perfectly stable.

Risks

Yesterday some wet loose snow came down, otherwise it made a reasonably usable impression today. I would still avoid the steep shady slopes, which is a shame as that's where the best snow can be found. Otherwise, of course, you have to pay attention to the daytime warming.

There were a few nice turns, but for the most part we got moderate snow today. At least the weather was excellent.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
