Snow condition

You have to carry your skis up to the first real slope of the piste. From there, there is a continuous snow cover in the direction of Lizumer Kar and on the piste. On the piste, however, you often have to unbuckle your skis as the path has been cleared. There are also some narrow sections. From the Widdersbergsattel in the direction of the ski area, we encountered quite a few stones in the wet snow.

Snow quality

It didn't really freeze through tonight. The cirque between Ampferstein and Marchreisenspitze was quite skiable at ten o'clock but alternated between hard snow, some firn and a little deep swamp. At the bottom it was really deep swamp. We had some summer snow on the last few meters of the slope. Due to the wet snow, we then went over the Widdersbergsattel to the piste after the Widdersberg, where it was nice to ski at 12 but not sensational either.

Looks stable. For wet snow avalanches it is already too solidified on most slopes I think.

Overall impression

Unfortunately not very rewarding for skiing today. But as soon as it freezes well it can look completely different. But the scenery is very beautiful, it was my first time in the region today.
