Of course, towards the end of May there are no longer huge amounts of snow, but after the lousy winter 15/16 you can't complain here at the moment.north side closed snow cover from just over 2000m, in other exposures of course much higher, although it can still be worthwhile for a while on the east and west sides.depending on the starting point, however, you definitely have to reckon with carrying passages.
Snow quality
Mixed. Yesterday there was great firn, but today it was just too warm despite a clear night and the snow cover wasn't really frozen through, which made skiing pretty miserable, as you had to choose between broken snow and knee-deep slush.
Risks
Some loose wet snow on the way in the afternoon.
Overall impression
Quite good for the end of May.
