Exposition
Snow condition
At the parking lot in the morning about 10-15cm of snow, above 1700m there was also a bit of old snow + the snow cannons were probably running shortly before the last snowfall. Above 2000m about 30 cm in windless areas.
Snow quality
Finest beautiful cold powder in the morning. Above 2000m partly with wind influence.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
As there was no snow at all until a few days ago, there was actually only fresh snow, most of which was cold, unbound powder. Danger not comparable with glaciated high alpine terrain.
Overall impression
Spontaneously decided on the tour destination in the morning and was rewarded. Below 1800m you had to ski very carefully and stone skis are also recommended in the meadow terrain. The 3* is for October powder, which will unfortunately be destroyed again tomorrow with zero degrees at 3000m+. So I made the most of today and did 2 nice laps at the top.
