Snow report Axamer Lizum, 11/15/2019
A few leisurely runs in Kühtai
Snow condition

Overall impression
Snow condition
Down in the village there is already about half a meter of snow. In the meantime (17.11.) the measuring station is even showing over 90cm. It generally looks good visually. In the stony terrain it's still rather too thin, but otherwise you can make good turns on the "piste terrain" without touching the ground or stones.
Snow quality
We skied up the north side twice and once on the south side. On the north side it was nice fluffy powder snow (4 stars), on the south side it was already a bit wetter powder at 10 am (more like 2 stars).
Risks
There were large plumes of snow everywhere on the summits and ridges, so a lot of snow was transported. You should therefore be careful of drifting snow. We were therefore only out and about on the "piste terrain". We also went on steeper sections, but in the current avalanche situation it is more sensible to hold back a little.
Overall impression
Great weather, beautiful snow and a lot less going on in Kühtai than in Axamer Lizum. Thanks to the high starting point, the snow conditions are also good and it didn't rain the day before.
The snow cannons are already running. Unprepared piste terrain will probably soon be a thing of the past.
