Snow condition

Extremely good for November. The foothills of the southern precipitation have reached the Lizum. In the valley at 900m approx. 20-30cm. Parking lot Lizum 1550 hm certainly over 50 cm and on the mountain at just over 2000hm between 0.75 cm and 1m. On 5 stars the carpet pad in the forest and filled stone fields, gullies etc. are missing.

Unfortunately extremely heavy and therefore very difficult to ride. It's still nothing for weak legs at the start of the season... The snowfall is quite wet up to 2000 m and even the snow, which was probably still good yesterday, has become quite heavy in the meantime. But it will definitely be a great base :)

Risks

According to LLB 3, huge wind vanes could be observed everywhere the day before. Sliding snow avalanches are also likely to be an issue on meadows. I was defnsively on the way and toured in flat terrain without a catchment area. Visibility was also poor, so no further assessment was possible.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

The abundance of snow is a joy and although it was difficult to ride, I give it 3 stars for the great base for the coming snowfalls :)

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
