Exposition

North North-Eas East

Snow condition

1 von 5 Sterne
30 cm fresh snow
Descent to valley (to 1600 m)

There is virtually no base in the terrain. Around 30cm of the finest fresh snow, enough for a few nice turns on flat meadow terrain. Everything else looks nice because the fresh snow has fallen almost without wind and in very cold temperatures. But appearances are deceptive, enemy contact lurks in many places.

Snow quality

5 von 5 Sterne
Powder snow

30cm Champagne Powder. Unfortunately without a base, so the sinking depth is rather suboptimal in this case.

Risks

No warning signs
North North-Eas

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

Rock contact is the main danger. Avalanche danger is not yet an issue here due to the lack of a base and the unbound fresh snow.

Overall impression

2 von 5 Sterne
Equal

It was enough for a few nice turns on flat meadows. Anything steeper and rockier unfortunately needs a lot more snow. It was also very busy on opening day and the pistes were in a rather modest condition, to put it mildly. Nothing for stone skiers without good edges ;-)

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
