Snow report Axamer Lizum, 11/24/2019
Frühling zum Saisonstart in der Lizum?
Snow condition

Overall impression
Snow condition
Still a lot of snow for November. In the parking lot at 1500m still about 20cm+, although some exposures are much worse off. A very different picture on the mountain due to the storm, foehn and high temperatures. Generally much less snow than a week ago. Can only confirm chevchelios' picture from 23.11. The contest slope at approx. 2000m is heavily blown off from west to east. That's why the gullies in the peaks towards the ski area are quite full. Many standard variations are possible here.
Snow quality
It was 5 degrees+ at the parking lot. The snow was warm and soft throughout. Sometimes the blanket wore and it was almost slushy -> therefore still 2 stars. Due to the diffuse light and the hair dryer almost the same in all exposures (slaughter).
Risks
According to LLB level (1)-2. Filled everything very heavy and set. I did not observe any avalanches or slides in and around the area. The avalanches can be seen everywhere, but I had the feeling that they would be very difficult to trigger due to the heaviness of the snow.
Overall impression
Good base, lots of downhill skiing possible but the snow was quite mediocre to poor. Nevertheless, a great base. Now it needs to be replenished soon!
