Stone Contact avoidable

Not bad for the time of year! Stone contact can be avoided quite well with a little knowledge of the surface and a careful driving style. With the light layer of fresh snow, you should of course bear in mind that even larger stones can be covered in snow, but could still be dangerous. So please wear a helmet even on fashionable tours...

Wind drifted snow

Good snow quality both in the forest/latsch area and in the cirque at the top. Significantly less wind influence than 3 days ago, so that much better powder snow was found. A total of approx. 15-20 cm of pleasant powder, which is easy to ski from the summit to the piste. Nevertheless, you can still see the influence of the wind. In the forest, you should also be prepared for a somewhat rough surface in places, but the upper layer is nice to ski.

Risks

Old snow problem
North North-Eas North-West

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

There were no fresh avalanches, but you can see the wind influence and danger signs. In the pictures I attach a picture of the cirque yesterday (freshly groomed, thanks to ChevChelios for the picture) and today (after wind influence) for comparison, to visualize the whole thing. You should also note the weak old snow and fresh, sometimes drifting snow!

Equal

The visibility wasn't so good, but we were alone in the cirque and caught good snow. So you could say: "Once again, we did everything right." With a well-prepared track and a cautious skiing style, it was a pleasant morning round without any stone contact.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
