In the Kühtai, 70-80cm is common. South-facing ridges are somewhat more exposed but not dramatically so. All in all, you don't really need to worry about coming into contact with the enemy while riding. Almost better than in some seasons with lots of wind.

Snow quality

The top 10-15 cm that fell overnight is fantastic powder. Underneath you can see the wet snow that fell yesterday, which forms a good base. But it is not hard. But you only sink in 10 cm when riding, so it's not very deep.

Risks

Self-triggering could only be observed occasionally on steep northern slopes. However, these were not very large. We could recognize fresh wind plumes in the direction of the Stubai Alps. Otherwise, the snow cover made quite a solid impression.

Top day after the wet flop on Sunday. Lonely, incredible atmosphere. The advantage in the closed ski area is that you don't have to make tracks thanks to the Ratrak tracks.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
