Variations of snow cover

Visually, it looks good due to the recent snowfall with little wind, but often there was nothing at all beforehand. The deeper you get, the more snow there is, because it's not so blown away. Grassy slopes are okay to ride if you don't catch the previously blown-off areas or stones

We used the first nice day after the snowfall to test the standard slopes in the touring area. If you're off-piste, you should take a look at the webcams from December 7th, after which there was another 15cm of fresh snow without wind, which covered most of the obstacles. The last picture is from December 7th - I took a close look at which line still had old snow in the Lizumer Kar, and still had 3-4 stone contacts.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
