Slightly better than a week ago. You can now get as far as the parking lot in the forest again and there is also a thin layer of snow on the south-facing slopes. Last week's snowfall also came with wind. As a result, the ridges and crests are still blown away. Most of the snow is in hollows. There is a good 30cm at all heights and exposures. Widespread 15-20cm of fresh snow.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

Mostly good cold powder up to the parking lot at 1500m. But not all unaffected. Wind everywhere. Some sun on the south side too, but still without a lid. Really good in the gullies.

Risks

According to LLB level 2/3. Above the tree line you can see the drift snow mentioned in the LLB. Nothing else observed and no fresh slides etc. seen.

Overall impression

2 von 5 Sterne

In parts, like in the gullies in the contest face, quite good. Otherwise quite changeable. Significantly less snow than in the west, therefore only 2 stars. But still ok for December and a good base for what is hopefully still to come.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
