No snow in the Axamer Lizum

Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
There is hardly any snow. At parking lot level there is about 5cm, further up 10-15cm. In the highest 100 meters of the ski area, off-piste skiing is generally possible in the groomed slopes, but stone contact is frequent. Some of the slopes are snow-covered (only 2 are open), but in the lower third you shouldn't go energetically onto the edge, otherwise you'll be skiing on the surface.
Snow quality
Quite ok in principle, but doesn't help as it's simply far too little.
Risks
Not enough snow for avalanches, at least near the lifts.
Overall impression
The slopes are sure to improve soon thanks to snowmaking, but off-piste even a good snowfall won't really make a difference...

Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
