Variations of snow cover

Still not much snow. What there is has been blown over, blown up or settled by the warm days in such a way that you will probably be able to enjoy the next snowfall without fear of constant stone contact. At least in places where not everything has been blown off. To find these places with a sufficient base, here are a few photos right before the start of the snowfall.

Snow quality

Hard, pressed snow
Breakable crust
Wet snow
Jelly snow

the warmth has made the snow cover relatively moist. there is still some powder, but overall the snow cover is much more compact than in the last few weeks.

Risks

No warning signs

The photos should help to avoid sharks after the coming snowfall. Where the base has not been blown away, it is quite compact.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
