Snow condition

No stone worries in hollows and the middle of the gully. Crossings on the ridge and back are still hostile. There is also a base in the forest, but everything is rock-hard with little support. It gets much better at higher altitudes.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

Something of everything. From blue ice to warm sulz powder. Many gullies are super rideable with grippy snow. Only the exits and steep steps are sometimes hairy, there is a lot of bare ice. Depending on the line, ice axes and crampons and a small abseil may be necessary

Risks

In the ridge area drifts but only small fresh accumulations otherwise very hard frozen everything. I would confirm the two. Warming during the course of the day has caused a few small rocks and snow to tumble down from the south-western slopes

Overall impression

Despite below-average snow conditions, many new runs have been discovered. With approx. 1 m of fresh snow, you can ski without worrying about your equipment and nerves.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
