From 1300, there is enough snow to walk. Before that you have to carry skis. From 2000 m, the snow conditions in the Belledonne are somewhat better. Nevertheless, you still have to watch out for stones and not all descents are possible at the moment

On Saturday there was between 3 and 5 cm of fresh snow. Doesn't sound like much, but it made the ascent a lot more pleasant. Crampons were no longer necessary and the new "snow cover" is also quite good for the downhill experience. Unfortunately, it was quickly transformed by the sun and became slushy... powdery on the north side but shitty to ski on due to the hard base and snow-covered sharks. Be careful!

Risks

There was nothing to see except old snow-covered cones

Overall impression

Beautiful views, fresh air and little snow, but at least it looks better than the previous days. If it wasn't for the hard base, you'd think something was possible, but it really needs another big snowfall. From Tuesday, hopefully snowier times will set in

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
