Powder and sun in Les Sept Laux, Isère
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
From 1500 m super skiable without stone contact. Approx. 50cm of powder snow on a partly already good base. Also good in the forest.
Snow quality
Finest powder snow that puts a big grin on your face. Excellent fluffy powder in the forest and in unexposed areas. In high alpine terrain and on exposed slopes and ridges, the snow cover is marked by the wind.
Risks
Relatively relaxed as long as you are not on steep, rocky terrain with wind influence. However, this is not recommended due to occasional contact with rocks. Several small slides could be observed. In some places, surface frost could form due to the clear night.
Overall impression
Although the ski area has not yet opened, the Pipay parking lot was full. The crowds spread out quickly in the extensive touring area and today everyone who was out and about in the Rhone-Alpes region was sure to find good powder snow in fantastic weather. Good November in France However, a change in the weather is in sight. It's getting warmer
