Exposition

North-Eas

Snow condition

2 von 5 Sterne
30 cm fresh snow

Overall, an average of 30 cm was added here in the middle layers. Unfortunately not enough at the bottom. The snow is best there, but unfortunately there was nothing left before. You can only ski where there was already a base. In sheltered, higher altitudes it is a clear improvement.

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne
Hard, pressed snow
Powder snow
Wind drifted snow

Nice powder at the bottom (just not enough), some compact fresh snow or soft drift snow up to the (protected) high altitude forests. Above the tree line, unfortunately, the wind gradually got in, which was absolutely the wrong exposure for it today.

Wind drifted snow

North-Eas

Intensity: medium

Altitude: 1600 m – 1900 m

Risks

East South-East

Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

Significant loads in the high areas, there was a strong easterly wind there. The increase to a triple tomorrow is absolutely justified.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne
Equal

Lovely, cold winter's day, unfortunately with an unpleasant OSE wind above the tree line. If you're out and about in sheltered, middle altitudes, then it's pretty good. Also the First Line. But also a strenuous bushwacking passage. Weather remains fine for now, but we need more snow.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
