Descent through forest

Already good now, if you leave out the lower layers. It's still too little there. Above approx. 1000m in the open and sheltered areas, everything is rideable, unless you're in windy areas.

Powder snow

Really cool, by far the best riding experience of my winter so far, especially because the volume is finally right. In the dense forest at lower altitudes, you often come across old tracks, but that's not bad. In open terrain, all the tracks from yesterday were completely closed.

Risks

Much fresh snow
North-West

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

Few sources of danger at lower altitudes, I wouldn't do anything at higher altitudes, just stay in the forest. Lots of wind at higher altitudes.

Yes, the best day for me this year in terms of snow. It's also finally getting good in terms of volume. The current dump will open up some tours that weren't possible before due to a lack of snow. However, the higher elevations are to be avoided, lots of wind and blown-off spots and high avalanche risk. Unfortunately it will be warmer again tomorrow, which is a shame for the lower altitudes.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
