Cruel.... but in less structured terrain with as little tree cover as possible, you can ski due to the relatively compact layer of snow. Even after long bike rides, you usually still have to walk afterwards.

Hard, pressed snow
Powder snow
Jelly snow

In the meantime, the powder has warmed up and there was a slightly hooky layer of crushed harsh snow underneath in the upper area up to where I was. You have to ski with a lot of effort, but it's ok. Where there is still snow in the lower areas, the slush is okay.

Risks

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

Stones, rocks and wood pose the greatest risk potential.

Short afternoon ride to check out the situation. It was enough for a few okay turns, so it was worth it. In the upper, sparse larch forests you can ride quite well because it's very compact there. Unfortunately, the powder has become quite warm in the meantime. If you want to do something here, you have to have the will to ski and the equipment has to be stable... ;)

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
