Well, as usual. You can completely forget about the south side. On the shady side, there's significant amounts of snow from about 1100m upwards. But even higher in the forest. Mountain pines are very free.

Hard, pressed snow
Breakable crust
Wet snow

A total party of broken snow. Only soft at the bottom in the sun, but slowing down. Still very hard in the shade. Very demanding conditions.

Risks

South-East South

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

I was too low for the old snow problem. Very compact, hardened snow cover. A few small wet snow slides from the last few days were visible. The steep gully has gone down as expected.

Overall impression

Equal

Wow, real combatskiing today. Hoping for softer snow, I switched to an east-facing slope and was rewarded with bushwacking, equally tough broken snow and hard avalanche nodules... Actually, firn tours would be ideal now, but unfortunately there is hardly any snow on the more easily accessible south-facing slopes and everywhere else the lid doesn't open. 2 stars for the beautiful views, being outside and the fact that there is still snow at all.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
