Stone Contact avoidable

You have to differentiate: Everything on the shady and sheltered side above approx. 1100 m is still ok, everything else can be forgotten. At 1500 m, there is still well over a meter in sheltered areas. But if something doesn't happen soon, it will be a short spring... If you can, you should definitely use a bike.

Snow quality

Hard, pressed snow
Wet snow
Summer snow
Jelly snow

The Sahara Dust is okay as long as it is not exposed to direct sunlight. Otherwise it quickly becomes boggy. In the forest it's like summer firn and good to ride.

Risks

Abort the tour
Rockfall danger
Diurnal warming

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

I actually wanted to ski a steep gully, but then decided against it. The snow was already so soft in the morning that I didn't have a good feeling. It might have been possible, but the numerous rockslides made me decide to turn back.

Overall impression

Equal

Well, unfortunately it wasn't meant to be today. But it was just far too warm at night, no radiation at all and lots of rockfall from the walls. But I'll definitely be back, there are some cool things waiting. Will there be snow again this year?

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
