Snow condition

Less than average. But I still get the second star because there's still plenty of snow in protected gullies and cirques. It's also amazing how far down tw in the shade there are still icy tracks. A bike is advisable wherever possible.

Hard, pressed snow

Jelly snow

Spring conditions. Where the sun was already shining on the east side, it was okay, but everything else was unfortunately still quite hard on the descent at 11 am. The dry and cool air made for late varnishing. The heavily tracked conditions make for a rough downhill experience where it's still hard.

Risks

Diurnal warming
South-East

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

Very compact and hard where there is no sun. Certainly problematic from the second half of the day in very sunny areas.

Regeration tour in very nice weather. There are still some good options, but the high classics are incredibly busy. On the other hand, you have peace and quiet on the medium tours. However, good snow is rare.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
