Below average, as has been the case all season. You have to put up with long cycling and carrying distances. But if you're prepared to do so, you can still do something useful in the high altitudes. Steinernes Meer still looks okay. On average, there was fortunately about 10 cm of powder further up.

I hadn't expected fresh snow, so of course I was delighted. Even if it wasn't that much, the first turns from the summit were pretty cool. In the shade, the crystals were wonderfully fluffy and dry as dust. But of course you could already feel the harder layer underneath. In the middle layers in the shade, it was at most dust on crust or simply hard. Soft and ok in the sun.

The old snow cover looks very compact. The fresh snow slides off quickly on the steep slopes, but the amount is relatively small. I saw a larger wet snow slide that wasn't there when I went up.

Very nice morning today. I hadn't expected powder, even if it wasn't that much now of course. Unfortunately, there was a lot going on, but incredibly, one of the peaks was untracked. It was pretty cool to sit up there on my own and ski the first line. But it also took a lot of hard work, because the tracks were incredibly strenuous as the fine fresh snow slipped away very quickly.
