Snow condition

2 von 5 Sterne

Already a clear difference to last week, but that would be a basis now. The touring options are still very limited. Above about 1600m there is about 40 cm. Where there is meadow below that, you can ski to some extent. You have to be very careful about ground contact!

Powder snow

Pretty good, unfortunately already very rutted. No longer easy, more on the heavier side, but still very good. Warm in the sun and even heavier.

Risks

West

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

Relatively manageable, there just isn't much snow yet and it's well settled by now. Danger from contact with the ground!

Worse

Nice, although of course there's still not enough snow. In higher, sheltered areas you can ski with a bit more pressure, but you should always be careful of ground contact. There's a lot going on, but there's not much going on yet.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
