Avalanche warning level

low (1)

Exposition

North-Eas East

Snow condition

1 von 5 Sterne
10 cm fresh snow
Blown backs
Stone Contact avoidable
Variations of snow cover

Unfortunately, we only got 5-10 cm overnight (from about 1200m). There is some snow in well-protected areas, but overall it still needs a lot to be able to ski properly. The high altitudes are brutally empty.

Snow quality

Breakable crust
Powder snow

At the top there was still really nice powder in a sheltered flank, in the forest up to about 1100m (4*). Below that, unfortunately, there was broken snow with 2 cm of fresh snow on top (2*).

Risks

South South-West

Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

In the area where I was traveling, the risk due to snow is low. The main risk is from sharks.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne
Better

If you can find protected areas, then it's really good. Overall, however, there is still far too little, hopefully something will be added soon.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
