Altitude

Avalanche warning level
moderate (2)
Exposition
Snow condition
Less than before the 10 cm on Friday/Saturday! There must have been a lot of thawing yesterday, despite the much cooler air compared to today. There's almost nothing off-piste and the slopes will soon only work with artificial ice, except maybe Rossfeld...
Snow quality
Moistened snow, which was still powder yesterday in the shade, but today with a light, damp top layer that was still easy to ski. The expos exposed to the foehn today were dull and warm, at least not quite sticky yet.
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
Too little snow on the meadow and nothing else works anyway.
Overall impression
Fields, meadows and forestry minitour at the lowest altitudes. At least skiing and some nice views, but it was already very warm on the mountain. At midday it was up to 9 degrees warmer in the middle altitudes than in the valley (0 vs 9 degrees). However, I was also out quite late. Almost nothing works here and now it's staying warm for the time being. Just classic Christmas. Second star for being alone.
