Snow condition

Well, there's not much to say. Horrible.

Snow quality

Hard, pressed snow
Breakable crust
Firn

The first 200 m are quite nice: in the sun, a mixture of firn-like, slightly damp slab powder and a light crust over floating snow. Good to ski, but unfortunately not much. Further down, it quickly became harder and at the very bottom and in the shade very rough and with lots of ice on the forest road.

Risks

West

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

Everything that is on the ground and is not snow. Blank ice on the forest roads.

Overall impression

2 von 5 Sterne
Equal

Well, two stars would certainly be an exaggeration for some people, but I'm just happy when you can slide around a bit. There were also a few good turns at the top. But actually there's nothing left in the region... With long bike and carry routes, you can get a few icy trails, washboard snow, meadow slalom and five good turns. The sun and afternoon light were also nice. Even in the sun, some things remain hard as a board if the angle is too flat. There is actually nothing directly south-facing.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
