Snow quality

Hard, pressed snow
Breakable crust

Combat skiing again, in the open and on the tracks mostly hard bus snow or broken harsch (1) . In the untracked at the edge of the forest quite okay light cover or old slab powder. (3)

Risks

Crevasse or fall danger
North North-Eas

Wind intensity: High (40 – 60 km/h)

Strong wind, but all the stuff is very compact. Danger of falling or not enough snow are the main dangers.

Overall impression

2 von 5 Sterne
Worse

Training snow, but there were a few okay passages. The air temperature in the valley was significantly warmer than last time, but in the higher, more exposed areas there was an extremely strong and chilly wind this afternoon. The snow conditions are as bad as ever at this time of year.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
