Snow condition
There is snow and it looks reasonably wintry, but contact with the enemy is still to be expected. On the forest paths, however, you can get to below 1,000 m without damage. East side partly well blown off. For the steep classics (W-Couloir, north flank) there is still a lot missing.

Snow quality
Surprisingly good, below 1,800 m silky powder that was very nice to ski (sink depth approx. 20 cm). Above that a little more variable, sometimes with a slight wind cap, but still nice to ride. Everything relates to W or NW, certainly more wind influence on the east side.
Wind drifted snow
Intensity: low
Altitude: 2000 m – 2100 m
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
Quite stable conditions. Near the ridge there are some small deep snow lenses (especially W and NW), but they are easy to recognize and the size of the g is more to be considered in terms of falling than burial.
Overall impression
Surprisingly good day in the Gantrisch area. The snow was better than expected and we found some nice untracked stuff without too much effort.
