Very large amounts of snow as there has been a lot of precipitation in the last few days but it is very difficult to estimate the height.

The sun did the rest. On the south side, the slopes were baked and the snow was sticky. There were a few good spots on the north side. It was generally a little too warm.

Risks

The warning level was set at 3 and I would consider this to be appropriate. On a few south-facing slopes, you could already observe minor activity due to the sun's rays.

All in all, it could have been the day of the season. Unfortunately, it was too warm and the snow settled very quickly, especially at lower altitudes. Unfortunately, the summit run could not be opened because blasting work was being carried out all day. A real shame as the potential for good runs would only have been available at higher altitudes.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
