Snow condition
A good 1 m of fresh snow was added to the low base of the last few days. The descents in the forest are slowly becoming possible, we can't say anything about the open terrain at the moment - it's just too dangerous. Nevertheless, we are still hitting stones and grass in some places. The structure is currently very homogeneous and even with few intermediate layers. You don't really find the old snow problem in the forest.
Snow quality
In the forest and in places sheltered from the wind, the snow fell almost without any load and was therefore very light and easy to ride. Even at very low speeds, the snow was dusting over you and slowing you down slightly for the crowds. Faceshot count: infinite!
Risks
As already mentioned, there is no problem with old snow in the forest around Brand. Nevertheless, we have clearly exceeded the critical amount of fresh snow. On steep slopes, the snow quickly starts to slide and floats with you. So you have to be careful when driving downhill. With the rising wind yesterday in the evening hours, the snow was transported to all layers and formed new hazards.
Overall impression
Yuppie you Yeah, pig cheek! We didn't notice anything about the avalanche accident in Beand yesterday. Fortunately, most of the critical slopes were not skied yesterday. 5 stars if you have more base. Note: the camera pictures are not accepted by the CR tool today. Therefore only the crappy pictures. Sorry
